A cannabis concentrate with a soft, solid consistency similar to a stick of butter. Budder is one of many concentrate textures and appears in Rosin and many solvent-based extractions. A phenomenon called “auto-buddering” can occur with extracts that have not been winterized if they are exposed to fluctuating temperatures or excess humidity. The process of creating budder involves using chemical solvents (butane and CO₂) to ‘blast’ through marijuana buds to extract the cannabinoids like THC and CBD. The next stage involves removing the potentially harmful solvents within the concentrate by purging with heat and air pressure. How to consume Budder

Ideally, Budder is consumed by dabbing it. Dab refers to consuming cannabis extracts using a dab-rig or a dab-bong, with a high pre-heated bowl (using e-nails or a butane torch). However, Budder can also be consumed by adding it to your joints/blunts/cones or bongs to enhance the effects of your favorite flower strains! When using budder, the main thing to focus on is the temperature. This particular concentrate retains a lot of terpenes, excessive heat will burn and destroy these delicate molecules, and you won’t be able to enjoy the lush taste.
